In 2016 we founded Samelogic because of this very reason, the future of CRM is video based.
We have identified one very common trend which is shifting our behaviours: video. Video is created at massive scale today. More than 500 million stories are uploaded on Snapchat and Instagram daily, or Youtube where more then 72 hours are uploaded every minute. Not only is content creation shifting to pure video, but content consumption is also shifting to video as it's much easier, richer and more contextual way to absorb rich data.
Why are companies not using video to communicate with their customers? Why is that when a company wants to understand their customers or employees they do it through outdated/traditional online surveys, focus groups of interviews? Consumers today live in a fast paced environment, where they expect to do and get any and everything immediately. Through technology, consumers have gotten the luxury to get food delivered to their door whenever they want it, get transported anywhere at any time, and, communicate with each other face to face while being thousands of miles apart.
